What is a modular living wall system?

A modular living wall system uses pre-grown planting modules to create vertical green walls on internal and external building façades. HYVERT.AI combines modular planting technology with AI-driven environmental monitoring, helping measure carbon capture, biodiversity gains, air quality improvements and other sustainability metrics.

From the beginning, the goal for HYVERT.Ai was to harness the capability to accurately quantify and measure it’s environmental and sustainability benefits. This ambition was successfully achieved thanks to an award winning Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Manchester Metropolitan University. (MMU)

Currently nearing the end of KTP2 with MMU, this latest research has further expedited HYVERT’s evolution by utilising machine learning and applied AI to collate environmental data e.g. carbon capture, air/water pollution reduction, rainwater re-utilisation, noise/heat attenuation and biodiversity net gain.

This advanced data can be used to produce bespoke reporting/visualisation dashboards on the accrued and future sustainability impact – particularly helpful for ESG purposes.
