Waterstruck

Waterstruck bricks offer a distinctive appearance that combines the character of traditional handmade bricks with the consistency required for modern construction projects. Popular with architects, developers and designers, waterstruck bricks are often specified for residential, commercial and heritage-inspired developments. In their production, they begin in the same way as most of our bricks, with the soft, mud clay being moulded into shape.

What makes them different is how the mould is made wet as a way of stopping sticking. Then, water is splashed heavily across the tops of the moulds. As you can tell, this process is where they get their name. This gives the bricks a clean smooth finish, however the presence of natural imperfections provides them with character and expressiveness that will stand out in your finished project.
